I receive a call from this number daily, I usually ignore the number. One day I answered and I asked them to take my name off the list and the guy with a thick accent says, "I kiss you, I kiss you" "how old are you", I laughed and then told him to stop calling me....these calls began when I decided I was going to fill out online surveys. I must have put my phone # in somewhere, but cant remember where.

I am surprised the FBI can't shut this down.  It is occurring across state borders and I'll bet it is off shore.  I too heard lots of noise and my person wouldn't give his name.  But their  accent was definitely from South Asia - I'd bet Indian. The grammar was bad.  The most annoying part is knowing that they are lying to us and their aggressiveness as a result.  I expected them to hang up when I blew their story apart, they just got louder and snarky! Their audacity. THAT is it!!  Obviously, some people give them the info - otherwise their scam wouldn't continue :(

I just got this same exact call everyone else did saying that I am going to get a 7K grant. They knew my last name and city I lived in, which is scary. I knew it was a scam as soon as he started talking! Clearly this is not how grants are giving out. As I started asking a lot questions he began making vulgar and nasty comments. This needs to be investigated asap!
