I got this call today!  Figured it was a scam as it was completely automated.

I am now wondering how are they getting hold of the numbers.  For sure they don't know who they are calling "This message is intended to contact you".  BS.

Ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury. For a federal criminal offense. My number is (213) 293-3590. I repeat (213) 293-3590. I advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you. Thank you.

Hi, recently got a call from this number, couldn't understand his name, he had a thick Indian Accent. Anyways was called back by 661-695-7835, and it was the same man. He said first he was from the department of legal affairs, and then he didnt say in the 2nd call. Thanks for letting me know that this is probably a scam, as I haven't recieved any mail yet.

I too have received this call.  I arrived home from work.  I had five voice mails on my home phone.  It was an Indian/Pakistani accented male.  He left the number 213-928-2652.  One voice mail said he was from the "legal" department.  Another one, noted noted in another post above, said he was from the Treasury Department and this was based on a federal legal action.  I could not clearly understand his name, but in one call it sounded like Steve and in another call it sounded like Dave.  Figured it was some sort of scam... The U.S. Treasury would not start with a phone call.  Because I was running late coming home, when I called the number he left it went to voice mail and the voice mail recording said it was something like "Fasland USA" loan company and the voice said he was a loan officer.  

213 928 2101 called threatening me with legal action and to have a lawyer contact them. could barely understand the attempt to hide the accent. I think they called themselves James Harris.  Said something about taxes. This number didn't come up when I googled it, but it sounds like other numbers reported.

I received a bogus call from this number from the Indian scam artest I missed the call and called back and it was a magic jack number
