The caller stated that there was something wrong with my computer. He told me that my computer was infected with malware and spyware and that he wanted me to sit in front of my pc, go through the steps that he would outline for me and try to help me fix my pc.
I hung up on him. He called back and apologized for losing the connection. I asked him why he was doing this and he stated that he was trying to help me fix my computer. I told him i thought he was lying, there was nothing wrong with my pc and that i was going to report him and hung up. He didn't call back.

Death threat from this number - but I do know the fella.  Just have the burden of proving it.  Law enforcement has been contacted.  Could not consider this a prank call.  Husband and wife team in the background. Have found the carrier on this and they have admitted it is their number and this is most likely through a company.

Called twice in 30 minutes.nobody on the other end.so I hung up.

They call my aging parents at least twice a day. Claim to be Microsoft computer support. Bilked them out of $400, which I got refunded, but refuse to stop calling. Dad has a terminal illness and 80 year old mom is trying to care for him at home. We have respectfully begged them to stop, as it really upsets mom. They just talk over us. I finally got mom a loud wistle. Every time this number comes up, she blows it as loud as she can. They still call, but hang up as soon as she answers. Gives her some emotional relief to this intrusion. Just a suggestion..,

I keep receiving calls from this LA Calif # 213-905-6397.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, but of course that doesn't work.  What can I say, our tax $$ going to work for nothing!!! This # calls & calls, leaves no message...Its just freaking annoying, if they were legit then the company for leave a message regarding whatever...SICK & TIRED OF THIS SCAMMER!!!
