However, ironically I had just made a withdrawal from my Suntrust acct w/in an hour of receiving this SMS to my WORK cell phone.. It completely freaked me out.. so I made the call, thinking it was because of my recent withdrawal.. However with the "verification questions" to "unblock the acct, it was very clear that it was definitely a SCAM.. Thankfully I had the fortitude to call Suntrust and verify whether or not my acct had been blocked.. So with that said, to be on the safe side I had them cancel existing cards and send new one.. I definitely know better than to fall for the ole "okey doke".. Damn Scammers!!! Argh!!

Just received a phishing text message 'Debit card locked. Please call 2137990779 to re-activate it.'

same here 4/30/2012.

Just got that too. They said Suntrust. I have no buisness with them whatsoever.
