IRS scam tax evasion etc etc

I called the number back and the man who answered claimed he is from "Treasury Dept, Legal Division" and his name is Mike Brown. He has a slight "Indian" accent and I could hear background noises like it's a 'boiler room call-center'.
I told him that this was a 'scam call' and he responded" So, what are going to do about it?"
I'm really pi$$#d and want to know how I can report it this to the proper authorities bec I know there would be people who would be scared (It scared my wife!).

I received a call today from 213-784-2829 regarding Tax Evasion...same call I received yesterday from 619-798-8166....I went to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and filed a complaint...probably will do no good but they are obviously Not the US Government and complaints should be filed...I could not find a way to file with the Treasury but you can with the IRS or the FTC....I did receive an Email back from FTC that they received my complaint
I hate that these people try to Scare people....especially us older ones !!!

I got a call from this number on my cell phone...just a computer generated voice...DO NOT CALL THEM!!!
THIS IS A SCAM!!!   They will try to convince you that you owe taxes and then attempt to extort money from you to "settle your tax debt".   DO NOT CALL!!!!!
