It's the Los Angeles Public Library calling to let you know your reserved book is available, they won't leave a message for some reason unless you pick up

You people are paranoid. This is the LA Public Library computer system telling us that a book we check out is overdue.

This is not always an automated call. I recieved a call from this number and they didn't leave a message. The only thing on my answering machine was some squeeking of the springs on a chair when the person leaned forward to hang up the phone. I recieved another call from them and they were asking me if I still wanted a book even though the included CD was missing.
In response to the post by Stan; we are not paranoid. The caller ID indicates that it could be important and I wanted to find out what I could about it and if there was something that I needed to know about.

This is a call from LAPL when you reserve a book. They leave a message so, not sure why all the confusion!
