Was an automated message stating that the IRS was about to file a lawsuit against me for unpaid taxes. I heard this scam was going around a couple weeks ago.

I just got the same phone call claiming to be the IRS. I called the number back from another phone and they answered right away and stated they were the Internal Revenue Service. Like you can ever get through to the IRS without waiting forever.

Yep, just got this one myself, and didn't answer as I was able to find this site while it was still ringing. Thanks for reporting this everyone

This is a SCAM!!! If the IRS wanted to get ahold of you they would send you a certified letter, the IRS does not call.
