Called 10/25/10. When I called back I get a message saying that the number is not configured for inbound calls, but to go to www.google.com/places for more information about Google Places.

it's harmless.  Google is just verifying that their google maps site is up to date.

Call from someone trying to verify my business location "on behalf of Google Maps".

Could not understand most of what the caller was saying. Repeatedly asked what they wanted but caller kept asking if we were next to Wendy's or other locations. very confusing. Don't like it.
