A lady calling herself Elsie with a foreign accent called and said something was wrong with our Windows program. My husgand told her she would have to talk to me and gave him this number, telling him it was a toll free number. An obvious scam, but don't know what it is about. Anyone figure out this one?

My mother got a call from this number as well.  It was a foreigner explaining that he was from Windows support and there were bad viruses on the computer.  Once she asked them their name and started questioning them, they hung up.  Definite scam.

Called me and said they are from microsoft and they been getting error messages from my computer, that something is going to happen.  Sounded fishy, so I asked for a number to call "Ken" back at, he gave me this number so I am searching it out.

Showed up at "Unknown" on caller id.

They lie, they are not from Microsoft:

I got a call today from somebody with a foreign accent saying he was from Windows.  He was very hard to understand.  He wanted me to log on and go to Windows Applications Manager.  I didn't, but I took down this number and called it back.  It was answered by someone with a foreign accent who answered "Windows."
