I got a text from someone identifying himself as someone I know from 213-455-5387. The text asked if I liked a certain song and contained a link starting with hangti.me. My boyfriend also received the same text that I received from the same 213 number. The only connection I have to the friend who 'supposedly' is sending the text is Facebook. I don't have my phone number visible on Facebook but my phone number is associated with my Facebook account (i.e. Facebook text verification). This is just madness.

Make sure not to click the link in the text. I haven't clicked it, but apparently it's spam (according to another forum). Not to mention the link says hangti.me instead of hangtime.com so it's clearly unsafe.
