Left voice mail. Told me there was a problem with a past tax return, that IRS had sent notices (total lie) & that they are going to arrest in the next hour. I called back & the woman I spoke to barely spoke English & kept repeating her script. My accountant said the IRS never calls!

Same as all the rest - phony call from the IRS.  Why if they keep using the same number aren't they closed down by the feds?

They did that to me today! how do we report this stuff or is there no way we can?

Got a call from someone claiming to be  Federal government IRS that I owed a big amount of back taxes and would be arrested. Man had an Indian/[***] accent.
I am contacting the police immediately. You should too.
