I answered the call. It was automated message: "IRS we are filing suite against you. please contact us immediately at ...the same number". I think it's a prank....

Its not a prank, its extortion and they are serious about it! I posted the links to this above, This extortion scam has been around a few years also. Most of these calls are coming out of India and Pakistan.

I received the same/exact message via voice mail. I called back but there was no answer. I reported it to the IRS.

Just checked my messages on my house phone and it was California saying the IRS is opening a law suit against me. I knew it was a scam because usually the IRS contacts you by mail first I believe. But checked anyways. Stupid scammers!

I also got the same message, called the number back and it says the mailbox is full.....
