I just received the same message. It was a recording from a Steve Martin (with an accent) from the US Treasury enforcement department and I was going to be taken to federal court if I didn't pay. I don't owe any money. He said " Help us to help you". I got this call 3x's in a row yesterday on my home telephone. Have been trying to call the IRS ever since but cant get through at the 800-829-1040 number.
This is a SCAM!! If you get a call from this number-it is not legit! FRAUD-BEWARE

Well - STEVE MARTIN called me 4 times last night.  Same ploy.  When I called them on the scam they hung up.  Reported to MD States Attorney and IRS.  Asshats.

Caller said he was from U.S. Treasury and that I owed on taxes from 2009. Didnt have any info supporting his case and got very rude with me over the phone. Said his name was Anthony and his employee number is 17562. He called again and left a message with the name, "Dave Martin"
