the IRS scam.....3 calls in 4 days using 2 different numbers.   I told the caller I worked for the IRS and he told me to "kill yourself and go to hell."

I got a call from this phone number. The person calling me told me that he was an IRS investigator and that there was something wrong with my taxes, he then proceeded to ask me personal questions, my name, address, phone number, etc.  I told the person on the line, well if this is the IRS (as you're claiming) you should have that information in front of you?  He told me that I could go to jail for not telling me the information.  I told him, I never give personal information over the phone, you can send me a letter. He got mad at me and hung up!

Yeah they just called me twice.. and i dont know what to do my sister told me if the irs needs to contact you they send letters before they even try to call..

I had the same thing as Pat!  I told the caller he/she will go to  jail for fraud, harassment, and the IRS will sue you, scumbag

That is true Kayla the IRS never calls or emails they will contact you by mail. But these days you even have to make sure that is authentic, and that you do by contacting the IRS!
