These people left a message on my machine saying it was Ryan Gibson (a thickly accented Indian man) from the Treasury Dept of legal affairs and that I should call back regarding a legal matter and if I was too busy to have my attorney contact them. Called back for kicks and got an answering machine, hung up. They called this morning at 8 am my time, 7 am California time (what govt agency is at work at 7am???!!) and hung up when I answered. I called them and a Indian man named Daniel answered, told him I was looking for Ryan, said he was Ryan's supervisor and what was I calling in reference to, told him I didn't know, you called me. He asked for my phone number. I told him if the only way to identify me was by my phone number then he was a telemarketer, he got very angry with me and said if that's what I thought I could answer to the police that would be here in 45 min to arrest me! I said "great" and hung up. Then I found this web site and thought I'd share  

I Got The Same Exact Call Stating The Exact Same Thing Several times!  I Want To Know Whom I Can Report This To And Possibly Take Legal Action Against The Harassment.

I received the same call and when I called back , I got the threat .

A guy with an Indian accent called me and told me that he was from the US legal treasury and that this was a legal matter that I needed to resolve. He then gave me that 213 number and said that I should call him back and that his name was Kevin Peterson. When I called the number later, I got a  machine that had Kevin Petersons name on it but sounded as if it was a regular answering machine in someones home.

I got the same call today 4 times from Ryan Gibson with a very heavy accent (213) 375-0944. If you owe back taxes you will be notified by official mail not by phone call during the weekend afternoon.
