After researching these types of calls for some time now,and being a pro active single dad, that has to be the most informative article and response I have read here. I knew of all that you stated, let me get my 2 cents worth in. The do not call list is ineffectual. Until our "representatives" take action, this will continue. I have chosen a diffrent path, and although a little harder to do,it works everytime. Go ahead and give them just enough information to come out and "install", or "service". I delay them just long enough to call the sheriff and report a suspicious person on my property. After thay get a background check by a deputy, and I inform them that I have plenty of time on my hands and will do the same again, they never call again. Make your actions cost them money, that is VERY effective, and 100% guaranteed to get you off their calling list. I have done this twice in the past 2 weeks, and no more calls ! Dont be a sheeple, make a diffrence !
