just got a call

Got the same and about every 20mins. I am sure it is B.S. or a scam. I am blocking it. IRS would not notify anyone this way if it was official.

I got 2 miss call and a voicemail this morning.
I call back and asked him to send me a letter.
then he hangup the phone.

The IRS doesn't initiate contact with taxpayers by email, text messages or social media channels to request personal or financial information. This includes requests for PIN numbers, passwords or similar access information for credit cards, banks or other financial accounts.
