Anyone knows who this is?

IRS tax evasion threat scam.

Called my cell twice this morning. Left one message:

Quote:...attorney on record to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time-sensitive. The number for you to call the United States Department of the Treasury is 213-291-7662. Now if you don't return the call or we don't hear from your criminal attorney then the only thing we can do is wish you good luck as this situation totally unfolds on you, as there is a legal notice petition filed under your name by the IRS for tax evasion and tax fraud. So before this matter gets executed to the courthouse, and before you get arrested, if you need any information or if you have any question kindly call The United States Department of the Treasury back at 213-291-7662. Thank you.

If you get a robo voice mail from this IRS scam team, instead of calling back report it to:  https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml and leave them the details.    (If enough of us do it, they will get a visit from real IRS agents and that will be the end of their sad little operation.

Called twice at 6 AM Pacific time, one time left the strange voicemail message noted above by 'JenP'.  Also noted the unusual Caller ID, 'Battu A'.
