They say they are the "Finance Processing Group" and that they want to talk to you about the "order you placed yesterday." They give you a phony order number saying that it was a purchase through "Mac Mall." They instruct you to call a 1800 number and to press "1" for Credit Card processing. Total scam. I called the 213 number instead just to talk to the guy in person and he was a complete moron. I asked him what the product is that I allegedly purchased. He stammered and said, 'Um, a Mac Book Pro." When I told him that it's definitely not me who purchased it, he just said, "ok, well, I'll just go ahead and make a note of that then. Um, thanks." If you're going to try and scam people for their credit card number, at least try to make it sound legit.
