It's a Nextel call that is always calling me, but can't receive calls because it is "not in service at this time." Very annoying, they leave no message and keep calling.

This number called me, and I didn't answer.  I tried to call them back and it was busy.  Then they called me again like 5 minutes later, but this time I answered.  It was a "college information center" and they were asking for a relative of mine.  Apparently "she had requested some information about culinary school."  I don't know if it is legit or not, because I haven't been able to talk to her yet, but I told them I don't know why she gave them my number and asked them not to call me back because I had not requested it.  They asked me to pass their return phone number on to her: 866-651-0587.

they call my office and hang up as well. several times a day. it just says 'california' on the caller id.
