this number called me pretending to be capital one and saying i owed 800 dollars then when i asked what they had as my social security number and birthdate they hung answered wrong then hung up.

some one keeps calling me from this number.

A collection company calling on behalf of Capital One. Called me several times trying to reach someone who apparently used my # in the account.

I've received repeated calls from 212-270-6711 and 213-270-6717 to a number that I keep to use for outgoing faxes only, nothing else.  No one has this number; so I figure they are calling someone else.  Thanks for posting that this is a call from a collection agency.  Lucky them, they are getting my fax machine.  For some reason this makes me feel all warm and happy inside.

Had been receiving daily calls from this number, or from 213-270-6717.  They would never leave a message, nor would anyone be on the line when I picked up.  I called them back and they had been calling for someone who had my phone number previously.  Said they would delete my number and I wouldn't receive any more calls.
