I emailed quite a few listings on craigslist.com for apartments. I received a call from a blocked number, and the gentlman said he was calling me about "the apartment," but I needed to confirm a security code first.  There was a language barrier, and I could not really understand him.  He hung up and I received a text from the number: 213-224-1971 that said "craigslist secret code for -email address-@live.com is ######.  Do not share this code for any reaason.  Any request for it is a scam."

The man called me back and asked me for the code.  I told him I didn't understand, but I STUPIDLY gave him the code.  He said he'd call me back and never did.

What should I do?
