Scott Greenberg from TIAA / CREF asked to speak with a particular financial manager but claimed the call referred to real estate. The manager didn't know him, so I sent Mr. Greenberg to Purchasing to introduce his company. The Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association / College Retirement Equities Fund is a legitimate firm that deals with retirement plans, mutual funds, insurance, etc.
