Ordered some supplements online.Out of the blue I received a call from a lady claiming to be the police.She asked me if I was so and so.I said no I wasn't thinking it was some telemarketer.Then somehow they actually got my girlfriend's number and called her.This time it was a male saying he was a sheriff.I scared the [***] out of her but she refused to answer his questions.She continued to say this seems like a scam and she did not like this.He replied with"the world doesn't like you and hung up".At this point I figured it was a scam but to be sure I connected New York police,Illinois state police and my local police and all of them came up with nothing.I received my supplements today.Guess where they came from,India.So my guess is either the supplement website gets hacked or they sell your information.All I can say is it has been very stressful.I'm located in Illinois and the caller was supposedly located in New York,New York but obviously they somehow route the call from overseas to here too make it untraceable.After scrolling through scams alot of them seem to be related to internet purchases,more exact supplements and or medications.Hope we catch these [***]!
