Didn't leave a message.

LET CALL GO TO MY ANSWERING MACHINE AS I DID NOT RECOGNIZE THE CALLING #.  AS SOON AS MY GREETING ENDED I PICKED UP AND ASKED FOR A LIVE PERSON TO REQUEST BEING TAKEN OFF THEIR CALLING LIST.  THEY IMMEDIATELY HUNG UP WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDGING MY REQUEST.  BLOCKED FUTURE CALLS.

My home phone transfers calls to my cell phone which has blocking software. I blocked four of their 212-660 numbers, but this outfit has some sophisticated software. My home line rings once while the call is being transferred. Today it rang once, hesitated several seconds, range as second time, and repeated this four times until it used a number I had not blocked. 212-660-1480 is fifth number they have used. It looks as if I will have to subscribe to a service that blocks all numbers with complaints in the do-not-call registry.

This is a medic-alert company I have talked to many times. They are just doing this to harass me. They know I am not a potential customer and am on the list. They use different business names.

This company uses multiple numbers (i.e. 212-660-5351).  I hung up the phone after 10 seconds of silence before they started speaking.  I tried to call the number back to harass them, but the recording indicated the number has been disconnected.  Pretty slick!  You cannot even call these folks back.  The DO NOT CALL registry is NOT working very well.
