Someone called me saying is from the county sheriff dpt. regarding about a unpaid summon, also that if I do not call this number they will come to my home to take away my electronic devices. When I call this number with a case number they gave me the person there makes believe she is an attorney and want me
to pay her fees, and asked her about an explanation she was rude and threat me and my family.

I'm Cris from California I got a similar call this morning from this person claiming to be an attorney. (with a case#) I was told I had a civil case and was been sued and will get served next Monday.  And that I owned properties out of state and will go after my house. This person has all my personal information and do not feel any good about it. Please let me know what did you do about your situation.

Is there some agency or people you contact to help you on this issue?
