The McGraw-Hill Companies telephone number 212 512-2524 has been spoofed and is appearing as if it is coming from the company however it is coming from scammers overseas and they are trying to gain access into your computer.

The caller ID said Zesiger, Capital when we got this call through our place.  He accused our CEO's assistant of lying about whether our boss was in the building.  She hung up on him.  Very aggressive.

Sounded like a phone scam - man with an Indian accent called and said that there were problems with computers in my area and that he would help as the police were too busy. He told me to go to my computer, switch it on and tell him what button I had next to the control button. When I told him that I wasn't going to give out that kind of information to a complete stranger he was rude and aggressive.

just got this call myself - imdian accent - something about a virus in my computer - said I have my own computer security & don't call me ever again with this kind of scam - he got more aggressive and I hung up - called the number back and recording said it was a non-working line at standard & poor 55 water street - somehow I doubt even this!!!

Please be advised that scammers are using this number fraudulently. Caller ID shows telephone # 212 438-7895 however it is not where the call is originating from,it's called spoofing. Do not give any information to caller who is attemtping to access your personal computer information. The caller is actually from overseas.
Telephone call back number 212 438-7895 used fraudulently through caller id has been taken out of service and monitored by Corporate Security.
Please report any calls to the FCC.
