yeah, these guys think they slick.. slick as something coming out the rear of a goose..... I have had so many of these calls, people with middle eastern English saying there names are far from what they really are, then this number coming in missing a digit? Ok.. I'm stupid and going to give you access to whose computer? sending error messages?? I KNOW if the systems that I use were to have any error messages, the IT staff that monitors would have already seen and corrected any issues. You'll be found...........

This number called me and the person was with Indian accent , he ask for my name and where am I from . and then he said that he is from the FBI department . I wasn't feeling comfortable talking to him . the way he spoke to me wasn't convenient.

Received call about 15 minutes ago from this nbr on my cellphone - "Microsoft Help Desk" SCAMMERS want to "help me fix my Windows Computer" ... laughed at them & hung up because ALL my PC's run various distros of LINUX!

They are still at it.  Got same call today about them being from Windows and getting message from my computer that it had "errors". They did have some long number from my computer as an ID. Kinda scary that they had that much info about me.  Thanks for the heads up and knowing others have been getting these same scammers.

I received the same call today on my cell phone from a guy with an Indian accent saying he was from Windows.
He said there were critical errors on my computer and wanted me to give him access remotely.
I told him my IT department would handle any problems and he kept arguing with me so I hung up on him.
