sales solicitation by "sarah owens" of "omr." pretended to have prior knowledge of my company and didn't acknowledge that this was a sales solicitation when asked. started the conversation by saying that she had some questions about our new office. i reverse checked the number and it appears to be registered to Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate in greenwich village.

As it turns out, you weren't the only one who has been receiving these calls.  They are NOT from Prudential Douglas Elliman.  Someone or some company "stole" our phone number and has used it to make illegal solicitation calls.  As of August 19, 2010, we have eliminated this phone number completely from our account with Verizon and no longer own, use, or have access to this phone number whatsoever.
