Multiple calls daily. No message. Caller ID says New York

Scammer states calling from Microsoft and he detected Malware on my computer. Tried to get me to give him my password to get in my computer to "fix it". Told him I was on to his scam and he hung up....lol

We received a call from someone saying that they were a representative of Microsoft from our computer. I asked him "Who's/Which computer." and he kept repeating that it was a Microsoft computer. We have several computers. I told him to place me on his "Do Not Call " List and he told me "Are you done?" I hung up.

Caller ID was simply "New York." Did not pick up and caller left no message. After reading other messages on 800notes.com, I'm glad I did not pick up. I am blocking that number.
