Scam,scam scam, i got a call today.boy was that fast.she said come on down
to 224 west 35 th between 7 th and 8 th ave room 216.And there's no fee. just wear
something nice.i felt as if something was not right. Man i can't thank you enough
for having this site.   The truth never felt so good!

I received a call from 212-268-8013 this afternoon. A girl with a slight accent asked me to come in today or tomorrow and bring headshots and a resume, but dress casual. I asked how they got my information, and she said I had responded to their ad on Craigslist (probably one for background extras at a cocktail party.)

The name of the agency she gave was World Model Talent, 224 W 35th St, Room 216. I made an appointment but will now cancel it. Thanks all!

I got a call from this number today.  Everything about the call cried out scam so I asked a bunch of questions then said I need to check my schedule and call them back.  What that really meant was let me google you and find out if you're legit.  I don't know any legit casting agencies that take new talent appointments every day of the week.

I just had this brilliant idea because I feel smart for figuring this out without spending too much time.  I should send them this picture for a headshot:

I just want to say thanks to everyone who took the time to write something up about this "talent/modeling agency." I get similar calls from time to time and am always so hopeful that I am remiss to think of it as a scam. Thank you very much for reporting
