this number called saying they worked for micro soft and i had dangerous viruses in my computer. they wanted to fix it remotely.they would not give me their name and i would NOT let them access my computer remotely.

its a scam...they want u to just give them money.

Idiot called my CEL #. Said he was from Computek,  and my home computer was full of viruses. I hung up. The sad part is, I know 1 or 2 people that fell for BS like this and gave these scummers access to their computers.

Woman caller. Id just said 007. She asked for me by name when I said "this is him", she hung up. No clue as to her motives. Slow death to all phone scammers!

I set my answering machine to two rings and then when it kicks in the hang up. Most have stopped calling but a few die hards like they want to fix my computer number and the special olympics and some insurance company wouldn't stop . I had a local number that kept calling they started 8:01AM and had rang about ten times til about 11AM I finally got to the phone and told them to stop calling this da*n number and slammed down the phone haven't heard from them since.
