I received a call from 210-888-1620 QSI Communications stating that I won a $1200 GE security system from a survey that I took last week.  I told him several times that I didn't take a survey that I wasn't even home when he said that I took it.  He said thats ok you still won it & started going on & on about it & about a monthly charge for the monitoring of the system.  I told him several times that I wasn't interested & finally hung up on him.  What a scam!

I've received this call about 3 times, each time I'm not there except last night and my Oldest son (23) answered it.  I've got them trained to say I'm not home if they do not know who it is.  I have been trying to trace this number, of couse found out that it is in San Antonio, TX.

I was very glad to see your post.  I'm on the Government "Do not call list" and should not be getting these calls.  If you havn't done this you should and can do it on a website. I did this about 3 years ago and I think I used this website:  www.donotcall.gov/   and registered my home phone and cell phone.

Thanks for the post. I think I'll research QSI Communictions and see what else I can find and then I am going to file a complaint with the "Do not call" government website.

I  got a call today from these guys stating the same thing--that I had won a GE security system.  All I would have to pay is the monthly fee of "less than $1 per day".  When I Googled the number it brought me to this site.  He was a very smooth talking man and I figure he could talk people into most anything.  I am so intolerant of these telemarketing types and even less tolerant of their BS.  I will not fall for their scam and have filed a complaint with our state AG office.

Just a few minutes later I got a call from the installer--even after I had told the other guy that I was not interested.  He did not try to talk me into it but just hung up when I said I was not interested.  I did notice that both numbers had Texas area codes.  Watch for 210-888-1620 and 469-941-4149 and numbers similar to these.
