Caller ID shows as TEXAS42 w phone no. of 1-210-876-2087. If you answer, there's click and immediate disconnect. If you call the number...an aswering machine says(Thank you for calling back. If you wish to have your number removed from all future promotions, press one now?)

Pressing one does nothing. The answering machine message just repeats over and over.

The call came in with a caller ID of Texas42.  Left no message

Caller ID said San Antonio, Texas. No one there when I answered.

No message either, however I suspect it is a political call for Ted Cruz' campaign.  I have been receive numerous calls from TX, all associated with Ted Cruz' campaign.

Same here. We donated to his campaign, and they're using several different SA numbers to pound their list. Typical fundraising approach. Very old-school and ineffective.
