Call blocker might be of some help. Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd. Or where there is no caller ID. There’s no way to stop the calls from being initiated.

We received this same call twice today saying they were from the U.S. Treasury and that this is the second time they have called and I would have to appear before a judge.

He called and said he was the United States Treasury and they filing a suit against me (in a foreign accent might I add). I laughed hysterically and said gfy you idiot...
