This number called when I answered Noone would answer so I called number back .They claim to be the IRS.And are calling because of tax fraud charges reported for 2008-2013.
He asked my name and I made a name up and he started saying All that about tax fraud and charges being filed and I owe $2500.
How would I like to pay today to take care of this.
Scam artist he barely spoke English.
I googled the number several others have reported this number for the same scam

I received the same call yesterday but, I rejected the call. After, rejecting the call the idiots decided to leave a voicemail. When, I checked my voicemail they began to say The Exact Same Thing you all have stated. So, I decided to call it back it had a busy signal. Then, I google the number I found you all helpful post. THANKS FOR ALERT!!!!!!

The same Guy (Daniel White) just called my phone claiming to be a IRS officer. He (in a Thick foreign accent) stated that I was being recorded and if I didn't come up with the amount of $6,967.18, I would be arrested and my children would go to State Foster Care. Also, if I wanted to avoid court or a warrant, I needed to pay $500 within an hour. I said,"I dont have that kind of money to pay out for Fraud." Me, still wondering how I'm wanted for Fraud and my Taxes always clears. He couldn't really give me any information about what was going on. When I asked, what happens if I don't come up with the funds and if I could do a payment plan? He said," Well you don't have it, so..." " When you get it call me back." I continued to ask questions then he hung up!!! I immediately GOOGLED 210-801-9607 AS WELL AS HIS NAME. Daniel White. I got no real info. But an address for San Antonio w/ this number. So many popups for this SCAM ARTIST. He definitely had me fooled for a second. Plus, I know the IRS would've made contact by 2015 from 2008. Thanks Google and Thanks Jen!!!

Voice mail left by so called OFFICER BARKER?  I called & told the very obvious Indian Accented Gentleman ? on the line he was a  Thief & a no good scammer & he should be ashamed of him self.    My neighbor is 75 & last year he  was duped & sent via Pay -Pal [there idea] over $5000 & then frantically came over to us & asked us to drive him to the bank to get an additional $9000 &  to the drug store to get a Green Dot/Pay Pal  & supposedly send more money , to the IRS, or they threatened Jail. We refused & told him it was a scam, he then left on his own ,for the bank ,all the while, us calling his Cell Ph. & trying to convince him to turn around, to no avail. I then called The Bank mgr., told her he was in his P.J's & on the way, to take more of his Life Time Savings & please , please,stop him, well there he stood  already in line & she took him out of Line calmed him down &  called us to come down & we did, we accompanied this man crying all the home to his 1968 trailer, where he cares for his 93 year old wife ,who is  bed ridden & has dementia, the scammers sadly took this man for $5000, but they didn't get the additional money they tried to extort.  Today the scumbags called me, same people from India & or? who knows where, Sick, Evil, Thieves, how do they sleep @ night?  I know, I should pray for them, but I cant find it in my heart after seeing them up front & personal hurt a veteran, a care giver, a good man, I"ll leave the forgiveness to a higher Authority.

The IRS will never call you on the phone. They contact via snail-mail only. When they do have to call you, they will send you a letter with the date and time that they will call. Please, folks, don't be fooled by these people. They are trying to steal your money, your credit and your ID.
