This number called my phone four times and left a message that there was a need to deliver some paperwork to me and that I would be held in contempt because I'm not responding to the petitioner. His words sounded scrripted and I too am not in Texas and am confused as to how they are referencing my county courthouse. Not calling back. They said I could call them back and ask to work out something with the petitioner. I'm assuming it's an old debt that was purchased.

Called both my parents and my cell claiming that a Mr Michael Smirnoff at legal services need to set up delivery of papers that are time sensitive from my county courthouse. 1st, this number is in Texas I'm not. 2nd a reverse directory doesn't have a business or anyone linked to this number. 3rd hasn't called me since the first call but has only called my parents number since. I feel this is a fraudulent group.

Basically a debt scam.   No legitimate process server notifies you in advance that you are going to be served with court papers.   Ignore the calls and block them.  You cannot be held in contempt by anyone but a judge.  Debt collectors have no influence or authority in the legal system.  This is just an attempt to scare you into paying them money.  There are no documents.

This number keeps calling and harassing people i know and myself saying i have legal papers and need to take care of it first off number calling is in texas i am not second checked with my county court house and no legal matters what so ever please help stop this number from harassing me

No one here can do that.   Invest in a call blocker and do not pick up on numbers you do not recognize.
