This individual calls and tells me I am being charged with a felony and being arrested. Threatening, abrasive, and condescending.

Pretrial Services called me about a $300 collection.  She said if I didn't pay within the half hour she would turn it in to the bad check unit and I would have a warrant for my arrest and would have to spend 120 days in jail plus the fees which amounted to $1,000.  I'm on social security and was will to make arrangements but she said no.  I was never served with papers.

The 'papers' they serve you will make a nice addition to your roll of Charmin. 'Bad check unit'? Arrested over a debt? Jail time with no trial? It's just laughable! These foreign 3rd world extortionist criminals (because that's who they are) should get back to watching cricket on SKY-tv Asia. Debt is CIVIL, NOT criminal. A Payday loan, or loan of any kind is a civil contract. You CANNOT be arrested for defaulting on a loan. Only in the minds of all the clowns sitting at the Color's Sports Bar in downtown Mumbai.
