I am a retiree from S A Express-news  The 764 prefix in the telephone number is entirely wrong. Check all printed and TV ads and you will find that all numbers at SAEN begin with 250.

They keep calling but never leave a message.  I don't answer numbers I'm not familiar with.  They've already called twice today!

Caller ID read Express News.  Male caller came on the line asking for Amanda, told him he had the wrong number. He said oh this number must have been reassigned well let me just take a minute of your time and tell  you why i am calling. I am calling to offer you the Sunday paper at a low rate. I told him no thank you and he has reached a business.  He said oh well let me offer you a business weekly rate and we can have the paper delivered to your place of business, OK?  I just hung up because this is going on longer than just a minute and wasting my time.  

I see everyone else says, it wasnt the SA express news calling them but it was in my case.

OK here i am a year later, and this time the caller was female asking for "amanda" again and going into their speil.  I let her know she reached a business and not interested.  She said ok and hung up.  And an hour later called again asking for "amanda".  SO now I know this is some rouse to get their sales and talk to someone!  Now I am leaning towards a SCAM of some sort.

Strangely, I got a call just now on my cell phone.  I just moved from SA to STX so I thought it might be someone I know. After reading the above posts, I'm really worried.  I see everyone is saying it's claiming to be Express News. What worries me is that I've gotten calls at work and the number is 405-283-8841: Caller ID says: Express News!  Scary how these people try so hard to steal from people that work so hard to make a real life.
