enquires about something for sale in northern Ontario.....obvious scammer ?

!! I was selling my car on Kijiji, brand new car, 2015, out from the dealer on Dec. 2015. I received a text message from (210) 739-0806.
The guy was interested about my car and said he couldn't come and pick it up because he was a marine engineer and he's currently on sea.
We spoke on gmail, his adress is engrjamesfred234@gmail.com. He wanted to send me the money, pay for the paypal tax, and send someone pick up the car.
He is now asking personal details about me and my bank account. He probably wants to steal my identity. Becareful everyone. Do not accept anything from this person.
I asked him for personal details to make some call and try to find out if he is real. But instead of answering my questions or giving me the details he just avoided my demand and continued asking me for my details.
He has a perfect english, and always seems to be pleased.
Becareful with this kind of people. They don't want your cars, they want your Insurance Number
