immediate hang up - no message

Telemarketing for GE security system. Just hang up.

Please, someone tell me what the point is for
companies to call and just hang up. They
can't want our business.  Anyway, I have no
idea who is calling from this number but it
sure is irritating!

Call received at 9:40 a.m., 6/21/13. My number is on the do not call list -- don't these idiots KNOW they're breaking the law? Or don't they CARE? In either case, what kind of moron would do business with a company that is either that stupid or that disrespectful.

Does the DO NOT CALL list do ANYTHING AT ALL? Until these jerks get fined or put out of business, they'll continue being this incompetent, because obviously, it must be working for them.
