person called my cell; saying they have a warrant to arrest my son and needed to get in contact with him...I told them no thank you and hung up...

I had the same experience! They were trying to tell me they were going to put a warrant out for my arrest.

Received a call from someone claiming to be an investigator on a fraud case.  I suspect this was a bill collector using one of the people search websites to make cold calls to anyone with the same last name.

I have been receiving calls from this number for the past week! First, a woman answers and says "Nova Court". I hung up. They called back and it was a man calling himself an "investigator". Yeah right! They are trying to get me to pay $650 for some payday loan I apparently didnt pay off back in 2011. I have never heard of the company that he said I had gotten the loan from either. He is telling me that I will be arrested if I dont pay. Go ahead, try to arrest me. What they dont know is that one time I put my phone on mute and the idiot didnt put his phone down so I heard his little group of friends talking and laughing in the background. An "investigator" would not have let that happen.

Harrasing me for months and contacting my previous job and every family memember they can possible call.  I need help to stop this asap!!1
