Yes I received a call by a man I couldn't understand his name at first a woman answered and then a man this man had my last 4 digits of my ssn  I asked what was this about he told me I had an debt in the amount of 900 dollars or so, since I could understand him I asked where was this amount at and where he told me it was a payday loan back in 2009 I told him I never had a loan anywhere.  He then insisted  I pay this bill asap if not this man would take me to jail, I asked u got a warrant he got upset and told me with his voice raised up ARE YOU GOING TO TAKE CARE OF THIS DEBT OR NOT I SAID HE'LL NO, AND HUNG UP. I CALLED BACK TO SEE WHO WOULD PICK UP A PHONE  IT WAS A LADY I ASKED WHERE AM I CALLING SHE SAID AN ARBITRATION FIRM, I'M LIKE GIVE ME INFO OF THE DEBT AND I CALL MYSELF, SHE REFUSED AND TOLD ME IT'S UNRESOLVED AND I HAD TO GO THRU THEM,  I HUNG UP

This is a scam. If you have ever used a payday loan, you are on a mailing list so that they can market to you in the future. Whoever these people are, they have bought payday load mailing lists. They then call and threaten you. If you demand proof of the debt, they will claim that they do not have to give it to you because they have already mailed it to you previously (which is a lie) You can not be arrested for a debt and you can not be legally served over the phone. For an 'arbitration firm' they do not actually know the laws concerning debt collection. Whoever these scammer are, they are just trying to intimidate you into giving them a credit card number so they can get what money they can from you. If your caller refuses to give you proof of the supposed debt, do not give them access to your bank account.

Called me and asked if I know a Cecilia Wilson and I told her no. She said I was put down as a reference, and asked me if I was sure. Said I didn't know her. 8:30 on a Saturday morning not impressed.

This is a scam, because first of all they should always say that this an attempt to collect an outstanding debt...really...your gonna ask me to verify my last 4 ssn # and then this idiot has the nerve to tell me he has all my information and I said yes because ALL  my information has been compromised and then he asked for my police report suuuuuuuuuuuuuuure, I'm gonna give him that too and he asked to send it to FAX 945-559-6387 case #133347 for suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure Im gonna send it....NOT the Payday loan is Access On Line...what eves scammers!!!!!
