Called and said my computer has a virus - I've been in the computer industry since 1969 and know I don't have a virus. When asked how they thought I had a virus or what they were selling they fumbled. In short whoever is using this number is a fraud.

Calls and hangs up "message says simply, Thank You"

I just got a call from these clowns. I asked how they tracked my computer down with a phone number. Some story about giving my phone number when I bought the computer. I've been doing computer work since 1975 so I'm already leery but want to hear more.  He has me run the assoc cmd which displays a CLSID\{888DCA60-FC0A-11CF-8F0F-00C04FD7D062} in a long list. He then reads off from his "file" the same number to validate he knows about my specific computer. He then wants me to install Team Viewer so he can connect to my computer and "show me" where the problem is.  I've already googled the CLSID above and see it is a scam.  I call him out on this and he insists it is all legitimate. He continues to insist that I install this so he can prove there is a problem. I tell him to describe the problem so he asks I start the event viewer but in the meanwhile he hangs up.

This number keeps calling and hangign up!

they harassed me i was freaking out
they called me a little while ago and i was like i have a brand new mac i don't viruses !, and hung up they called again i was like * f you* stop calling here and once again hung up he called back he was like NO [***] YOU ! it was this HUGE THING , he called like 5 times and like 5 time i hung up the last time he called i said listen here A hole i have a new baby sleeping here if you call me one more time ill have you charged .. and he finally stooped , he had a very strong asian accent
