first person all sympathy for financial situation...I made a reasonable offer to commence regular payments...he put on his "supervisor" who was nasty...threatening and screaming at me...I told him I owed money...was not a criminal and didn'yt appreciate being treated like one....he cut off call....# is 1-847-7841

One of the reasons they were nasty is that they are a collection agency... if you are really dealing with the bank/owner of the debt, then they have certain protocols that do not involve being nasty... but all these collection agencies that call up are downright determined to be the worst to human beings...
Best bet is to ignore all these calls until a Chase Supervisor calls and leaves a settlement offer on your answering machine... then I would start making contact again... They are total jerks until that happens...
