PSI or Professional Surveys Inc.  Is located in Largo, FL.  They have no other offices in the US.  They are hired by USAA to gather and mine data to rate your policies that you have with USAA.  Why PSI?  Underwriting is how you are rated for your policy premiums.  Data mining is big business.  USAA uses a variety of means to gather underwriting data via public records.  PSI using crafty selected wording pulls information from you.  In return PSI get a cut of the rate hike.  It's not a survey, nor are you obligated to take a survey in order to buy insurance.  Listen to the caller.  I'm "calling on behalf of USAA".  That's how they get away with it.

This is USAA bank , calling to update your insurance needs.  They want to know any changes to people living with you that may change your car insurance needs.  I never answer these calls.  If I need to update my insurance or address information, just go online to USAA and update it yourself.  These calls can make your insurance rates go up for sure!!

This was a safe number from usaa, they had all my infor and I did not need to give them any personal info except my mobile number or ins policy info.  They are only calling to verify those on car insurance policy.

It is USAA they call every year and check on policy updates. They also sent me a letter in the mail ahead of the call.

Not a scam...received letter from USAA that they would be calling to "update" records.  You can always call USAA direct if you want to ask about additional options, etc.
