My mother asked me to look up this number. It was a hang-up call with "WEST" listed across the face of her caller ID.

I pick up, no one is there; more than once.  (BTW - no more answering)

Rang once, no one there. Got phone number by *69, called the number. Machine answer "Authorized Vendor of AT&T", then "All operators are currently busy, your call will be answered momentarily". Same message for 15 minutes. I suspect that it has nothing to do with AT&T. My number has been on the Do Not Call list for over 60 days. People who cause these calls are vermin, should be executed to remove them from the planet permanently.

West  Is a network market for magazine sales

My husband and I get calls from this number usually 2-3 times daily.  I don't know how to stop them other than answer the call, which I don't want to do. Really tired of seeing that number.  Are these people selling magazines?
