Received this phone call and screened all calls I don't recognize, they didn't leave a message but do call at least once a day, I have registered with the Do Not Call Number, it doesn't seem to be working.

Same thing just happened to me.  Why would I tell anything important over the phone

This is a scam that has been going on for quite some time. It is the same pre recorded message about reducing your credit card rate. I have been getting these types of pre recorded calls from various numbers all over the United States. Strange thing is that they are using cell phones to call with. When you are connected to a live person they hang up when you ask them to identify themselves or when you tell them you are on the do not call list. They do not care because they keep calling. Every time they call they use a different cell phone number.

They would not stop calling so I spoke with them; and yes provided information...i know i know....anyway my gut said something wasn't right, i never gave my access code they needed, they still continued so I actually thought it was ok, as soon as they found out i was at all my limits on cards they said they were transferring me to another area, then the guy said,  "they will call you  back".  I am so glad i didn't give them all the info now.  I am a dummy!  DON"T FALL FOR IT!!!!

A legitimate credit card company will NOT call you using a cell phone.

I hope these cretins are caught one day. Whomever is behind this is a sick individual that does not care about anyone but themselves and attempting to scam others out of money and/or personal information.
