SCAM!!!
Left this message with a computer read message in a female voice:
"Hi this is the tax crime investigation unit of IRS the reason you are receiving this pre-recorded message is to notify you that IRS has issued an arrest warrant against you right now you and your physical property those are being monitored and it's very important that I do hear back from you as soon as possible before we proceed further in any legal manner my direct call back number is 210-229-8450 again the number is 210-229-8450 thank you"
SCAM!!!

Received call, 4/5/17, stating "you and your physical property are being monitored.  We must hear back before we proceed with legal matter."  Scam!

BEWARE!!  SCAM ARTISTS. Each year about this time, people begin receiving (these types of) calls, allegedly from the IRS.  The recording claims that you've committed a tax violation and that a warrant has been issued for your arrest.  The message urges you to call back immediately.  If you return the call, the rep will attempt to extort money from you as a means of "resolving" your "tax violation".  Don't fall for this! The IRS does not communicate or attempt toresolve tax violations in this manner.  You may contact  the IRS directly at 800-829-1040 if you have questions or concerns regarding your taxes.  BE AWARE & BEWARE!
