Scumbag debt collectors.  They'll tell you that they work in the the "fraud and worthless check division of the state" (they don't say which state!), and claim that they have an open case from some county you might have lived in.  Don't believe it - it's all a total lie, and completely illegal.

Called said they worked with the state of california and in the fraud check division. Caller gave name of Susan hightower

They called me and told me that they work for the state of Texas and work in the bank check department. They had all my personal information and this is scary.

Caller said they had an open warrant for me for fraud and that they work with the state's attorney's office and that a payday loan company did not want to move forward with prosecuting but they wanted to resolve the issue and she asked me if I recalled such a loan. When I told her no but I wanted her to mail me the information she asked me three to.especially if I recalled: she even said my whole doc which I was not surprised she knew considering I have used payday loans in the past and as a result my information was shared with multiple payday loan companies. She told me she was not authorized to send me any information, and when I pressed her she got upset and hung up.

I also got a call from this lady, Hightower is her name.
She is very good - scared the hell out of me. They in Texas and work for state attorrneys office.
I don't know what to make of all this - Im ignoring her because I saw the post for this number.
